activpen won't work

Please help, Our school has a new promethian board but we can only control it with the keyboard on the computer, the activpen will not work. The flame in the corner is blue or magenta, isn't it supposed to be orange?

Can I suggest that you ring technical support? If you look above this post there are various "tabs" at the top of the page one of them is called Support. Click that one and you will get all the info you need for which number.

As you are probably not at school at this moment, probably not much help to offer some things to try....:confused: BUT sometimes unplugging the board and restarting it and then attaching laptop/pc can sometimes "kick it into action"....

BUT it could actually be a number of issues and so trying to second guess without all details is probably a bit hard. Try the above number and see how they can help you....

Hit on the small activboard icon on your taskbar hit settings, then pen settings it should be on COM1 will work on all windows!
