Help - to make a background.

???? I'm having real problems trying to make an image into a background that fits the way I want it to in ActivPrimary. I think that I've got very used to ActivInspire now so going back to ActivPrimary is proving difficult! There is a reason this has to be in ActivPrimary - otherwise I would be using ActivInspire.

Anyway, can anyone help please? I have attached the one page flipchart which has an image on it that I would like to make into a background (have also uploaded the actual image separately too). I have dragged the image on the page into My Backgrounds and named it. However, when I then add that newly created background to a new page it doesn't look right (half the ship is missing on the right hand side). So, I tried using the camera tool to take a snapshot of it and then put that into the My backgrounds. When I added that to the page it was much smaller and the red line was half way up the page.

Have I missed something obvious? Can anyone actually create the background for me - is it possible to share just a background on here??

Hi Laura

I think I have solved this. The image was over hanging the page, so I reduced the page scale so that I could see and adjust the image exactly over the page. I then added it to page backgrounds and then added it onto a new page as a background and it seemed to work. I have attached the flipchart with your example and the page background example.
