I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with printing. In Activstudio. printing flipcharts was a piece of cake. I was able to choose double-sided, stapled, 3-hole punched, and other options and send it directly to our copy machine. I have yet to figure out how to do this in Inspire. Can anyone help me?
Also...when I choose 4 slides per page in landscape mode (2 columns, 2 rows), the slides do not appear as large as they did in Activstudio. There seems to be wasted space around each slide. Any way to fix this problem?
Thanks for your help!

The first thing i'd do is check that there's not an upgrade for your software. If you have the original release you won't have the option to choose a printer; it will only let you use the default. This might be why you can't send it to your copier.
Check by clikcinh Help> check for updates.
The ability to print with double-sided, stapled, 3-hole punched, and other options is part of the printer's software rather than Inspire.
There is also a way to change the margins on the page so that you get more image. This is located at the bottom of the Flipchart Print dialogue box. It's set at 5mm usually but you can reduce this if you wish. That might help.

Thank you for your response! I do have the most current version of the Activinspire software. What I don't understand though, is why I'm able to print double-sided, stapled, etc with Activstudio and other software programs from my computer, but I can't select that option in Inspire. (Or...maybe I just can't find where to select it???) It can't be an issue with printer software since it works in every other program.

To get to the settings you are talking about I think you have to click on Page Settings on the print dialog then printer on the next window and then properties. I don't understand why this needs so many steps but this seems to be the only way to do it.

After numerous attempts and clicking every available box in the Print Dialog box, I have not found a way to print double-sided through Inspire. With Activstudio, it's no problem. The print dialog box must be unique to the Inspire software and not to our printer/copier. The only solution I've found is to export it to a PDF first, and then I can select double sided after opening it through Adobe Acrobat. (Thanks for that tip, Rob!) It would be GREAT if this issue could be resolved in the latest and greatest version of Inspire.

Select file, print, choose the printer from the dropdown box, select the page settings tab, choose the printer button, select properties, choose your double sided printing options, click ok, ok, ok, and click print. I just did it, though I think it takes a few more steps than it should, it is possible. You can also save those settings so you don't have to keep going through all of those menu panes.

Thanks, Tony, but that doesn't work for me. After I select my printer, there isn't a "Properties" button that I can select next. I've literally tried everything. The only thing that works is exporting to a PDF first.

I am in the 1.3 beta, so maybe this is an issue they have resolved with this update.
