Hardware not present

My Activ board cannot be made interactive. I have had this problem for months now and have tried a number of things to fix it.When I load Activ3 it says that the hardware is not present. The orange button in top left is not glowing so I can't callibrate it. When I search for the board the laptop cannot find it.

I have tried
- turning plugs off etc.
- making sure cables are fully connected
- Downloading the new driver
- Checking all settings

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

It sounds like you've tried most of the basics. You probably need to call tech support to have them walk you through some steps to see if there's a critical missing thing.
