Camera area tool and desktop annotate

I have just upgraded to Activeinspire and have been used to using the desktop annotations in Activestudio on the live desktop (or a website etc), then using the camera area capture tool to take a snapshot to include in the flipchart. However, when I try to use the new desktop annotation and then use the camera tool it only captures the desktop - not any annotations I have made!. Is there an easy way to do this?

That's really strange! I've a had a look and I'm really sorry but I can't see a way around it... Can anyone help?

It works in the 1.3 beta maybe it is "fixed" in that version.

So glad they fixed this in 1.3! I had some teachers that were not happy that this was not working.

Well not sure if this helps I have experienced the same problem. I would annotate over the desktop (web page) and when I save the flipchart, close it and then re-open it saves the web page but not the annotation. The only way I could do this was to use thew camera tool.
