Set background for entire flipchart

Hello,

How do you set a background for the entire flipchart that you are creating? For example, if I want all my backgrounds to be purple or to have a coordinate graph on all pages, I have to go to "set background" for each individual page. Is there an easier way?

Probably the best way would be to design the template you want for the page and add it as a Page in your resource library.

Then each time you drag out that page from the resource library it will create a new page with that background and with the items you want for that page.

or if you are doing a certain background for one flipchart only then create the first page with the background you want to use & then duplicate the page in the page browser until you've got enough pages

In Settings > Flipchart there is an option to set the default page colour (sorry - 'color'...)
That will deal with the need for purple..
If you want a particular object on every page, you can drag the object into the 3rd row of the Toolbar and click to add it instantly to the current page.

Hopeully they'll give us a feature which lets us "add to all pages" :) Didn't we have that in V3?

Yes, in ASv3, under Flipchart Settings, in addition to setting the default page color and world color, you had the option of setting a default image for the background, (which was more convenient than making a bunch of clicks to duplicate pages in the browser). I would like to see that back.

You can set a default page color in Inspire by going to File - Settings - Flipchart. Here you can choose a default page color, and any new pages you add in any flipchart will automatically be that color. This is useful if you (like me) don't like looking at a white background. It doesn't seem that you can have a default background image or two-color effect, though.

Yes I would also like a " default background ( image) for all pages of the Inspire flipchart", a feature which was present in the Activstudio..

Is this is the future release?

How do I add a page to my resource brower?

Open the your Resource Browser to where you want to add the page.
Right click on the page (but not on any particular object) to show the dropdown menu.
Choose Add to Resource Library>Add Page
