Firmware upgrade 6.10 CD

HI! A Firmware Upgrade 6.10 CD came with my new Activotes. Do I need to upgrade with this CD before I try to register the Activotes? I am using a HUB.

I am assuming that you are using RF ActiVotes with the egg shaped ActivHub?

If so, the firmware cd that you have is now out of date - the latest version is V9.03 - if memory serves me correct, we used to ship the cd so that customers could upgrade their ActivBoard firmware (this was only necessary if registering the ActiVotes to the ActivBoard) Since you are going to be using the ActivHub to register your devices to you don't need to do anything with the firmware cd.
