Inserting tables?

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm a maths teacher and myself and others in the department regularly use tables in our lessons - i.e. frequency tables, tally charts etc etc.
At the moment we often create these tables in word/excel and copy them across but they copy as objects and we cannot edit the text in the tables/insert extra columns etc.
Can you create tables in active inspire that you can later edit?

I feel your pain.

When I need a table, I typically think about the layout first. How many columns and how many rows? How do they need to be labeled.

Then I try to find a page template that already has this layout. At that point, I add that page template in my flipchart and add the text or graphics I need for that particular lesson on the page layout.

Here are some of the ones I use the most. Note that the first one actually allows you to edit the table layout by clicking on the choices at the bottom. So I keep that one really handy.
