Hi to everyone on this forum, I have just registered and have lots of questions so I hope that you will be patient with me:

My first question is to do with the presentation of flipcharts. Once you have constructed your lesson how do you actually present it, by that, I mean is there an activation tool or do you just simply close the library tool down and give yourselves a full screen to work with and then work through each page, if that is the case is there a way of hiding sounds e.g. when you apply/attach a sound to an object and you click on it the sound equalizer appears at the moment. Is there a way of preventing this??

I am probably missing something that is very straightforward, any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Jas, welcome to the forum +wave+

Yes, to present your lessons just close the library and then use the left and right arrow buttons to work through your pages. I sometimes keep the library open though, if I want students to use the resources during the lesson e.g. fraction wall 'bricks' during a lesson on equivalent fractions.

To hide the sound controller, go to File> Settings. Then choose 'Multimedia' on the left hand side. You'll see some check boxes on the right hand side - uncheck the box next to "Show sound controller".

Thanks Rosie, much appreciated, I've had no formal training as such with activstudio but just sort of worked my way through it over the last few years. There have just been a few niggly problems that I could never seem to solve.
I'll give that a go.

Best wishes

Jas
