If you want to use pictures etc from your flipchart as your desktop background, you can do this. You won't be able to interact with it though (move pics etc).

1. Click on the camera tool and choose 'Area" Drag the selection tool over your flipchart.

2. On the Photograph tool bar, choose the middle icon (single person + camera). This is meant to save the picture to your resource library, but you can put it somewhere else.

3. In the dialogue box, Change the file type from ActivStudio to Medium Quality jpg. Save the file somewhere easy to find (my pictures, desktop).

4. Go to the file and double-click. The picture should open in Windows Picture and Fax viewer.

5. Right click on the picture. Choose Set as Desktop Background. Done! :)

Hi,

There is slightly better way to do this.

- In Activstudio, go into Design Mode.
- On the flipchart menu, choose: Page --> Export.

This will then allow you to save the whole page as an image file. Then use steps 4 and 5 that Rosie describes.

Doing it this way avoids having to use the Camera Tool and ensures you get the complete page as an image (and nothing more).

This is a cool tip Nigel! I didn't know you could do that. I see it's possible in Inspire as well - great for sharing assessment etc with parents.
