I really need to know if it's possible to use ActivInspire with Xubunto?
I've been using Ubunto, for some months now, but did not manage by then to stort out how to install the available version for Ubunto of the software for interactive charts, as ActivInspire or other previous versions of Promothean software. Now because the computer has been a bit slow and dying, I've installed Xubunto and it seams he has risen again...it's working; just really need to use some kind of application that will help me to prepare classes or even ActivInspire.
Is that possible?

it will work with xubuntu, check on Promethean Planet, it has the location of the Promethean repositories.

Thanks for your answer.
The thing is that I'm not allowed to the server.
Each time I try to access it :(

With :

deb http://activsoftware.co.uk/linux/repos/ubuntu jaunty oss non-oss

It appears this in the browser:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /linux/repos/ubuntu/ on this server.

I already tried on the terminal too, but it won't work.

I'll try now with:

We'll see ;)

Our repositories are now signed to guarantee the integrity of the software so you must import the Promethean key first - this is how you do it via the terminal...

Terminal method
Type...

wget http://www.activsoftware.co.uk/linux/repos/Promethean.asc
sudo apt-key add Promethean.asc

If all goes well, the last line you see will be OK
(Make sure you type the text as it is here, in particular the capital P in Promethean)
