middle button doesn't work on activotes

Hi,
I just received an order of 10 new activotes. Took them out of the box, and I noticed that they already had batteries. Nice. But I go to register them, and I press the middle button, then wait for both the red and green lights to come on, as instructed--but only the red light blinks, and the green light never comes on. I cannot register these devices.
Any ideas?

There's a little plastic thing blocking the batteries when you get them. Did you get it out all the way? Just an idea.....

I think the red light will flash if the device can't see any registration session. Check that the hub is recognised by the computer and the registration session is running correctly.
