As users of RM MathsAlive, we also have access to RM EasiTeach. EasiTeach and ACTIVstudio have worked quite happily together until a few days ago, when we upgraded to EasiTeach v3.2.

We have no problems with ACTIVstudio, but with EasiTeach we now get jagged text, lines and curves. Full stops from a single touch of the pen do not show - we have to make a bigger "blob".

I appreciate that this isn't a Promethean problem, but as RM Technical Support have been particularly unhelpful on this call, I'm posting here on the off chance that someone may some have some bright ideas.

Reverting to the previous version of EasiTeach isn't really an option as v3.2 is required for some of the Content Packs.

How sad am I - replying to my own post!

RM have at long last admitted that this behaviour is a problem in v3.2, but v3.3 (due November) will provide the cure.

Tragically sad ;) but at least you've saved the rest of us from scratching our heads!

Do you know I thought I had imagined that Easiteach used to write smoothly!! Thanks - I'm not going senile after all:)

Sorry to go off at a tangent but- Does this meant you are using RM Machines? If so do you have a CC3 network, and how easy do you find installing Active2 onto this network. We have difficulties creating (MSI) packages for new versions of Active2 and consequently have had to "go back" to build 307. Is it just us?

Sorry Dave, we just use the RM software. The only RM pc we have is a tablet, which came as part of the MathsAlive package.

As for CC3, I value what little remains of my sanity too much to go anywhere near it.
