New user here. I have a lot of flipcharts that require me or my students to drag objects around on the screen. Often when we go to do that, the object gets "selected" where you can change the size, delete, etc. Is there a way to set it so the objects can be moved but not "selected". It doesn't happen every time, but often enough for it to be slightly annoying. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm. I can't figure that out either. I thought there was a setting to prevent objects from showing the "rectangle" and thus the icons, but I can't see what difference changing that preference/setting does.
Anyone else?

Hi Angie,
This can be easily done in Inspire using Inspire feature of being able to create different profiles like "authoring" "at the board", etc.
What you need to go to "view/customize" edit profile "at the board ".
Then select the marqee handle from the drop down on the right of the screen.
Then choose all the tools under marquee and then remove them.
Now when you present your flipchart to your class, make sure that you are in the 'at the board" profile. Now when your students drag objects to another position, they will not see any selection/marquee tools. All they can do is drag.
This does not change your flipchart in any way, nor do you have to do this everytime. Once you set your profile you are all set. Just remember to go back to "authoring" profile when you are creating flipcharts.
I have attached a pic and screenshot for you.
