Hi

As a new promethean and active inspire user, is there a way to lengthen a page? I teach high school math and the standard flipchart page is simply not long enough for my students to solve a problem on (we have converted from smartboard which offer an extend page option and I am really missing it) Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there-
go to file, new and choose custonm size flipchart
then you can drag the left hand sie slider down to make as many pages down as you want.
On the top right of your page choose best fit or fit to idth.
Now you can scroll down the pages.

You can do it this way by changing the property browser of the page and viewing the page fit by width. That will give you the scroll down option to scroll the page down.
You can size the page height as long as you want.

I used to use this feature on AS3, and it had dotty lines around the edge of the page which you could drag with the pen to scroll the page up - just like in the "olden days" with scrolling blackboards.

These dotty lines seem to be missing in Inspire which means you have to use the scroll bar at the side, which is not so smooth, and is also often hidden by the toolbar etc.

Any way we can get these dotty lines back?

I attach a couple of screen shots to show what I mean.

Cheers
