Pick Through Help Needed

I tried searching for the answer to my question but no luck.

I would like to see the background through the equations that I create in Microsoft's Math Type 5. In ActivStudio I could pick through the color and get to the background. I tried using the property browser but can not figure out how to do it.
I attached a page - I would like the chalkboard color(green) to come through the algebraic expressions.

Ha, I just worked it out I think - Properties>Miscellaneous>Transparent Colour. Is that right?
