ACTIVslate XR Registration

Hi All,

I have an ACTIVslateXR that I got in 2005. It has worked like a gem. I have recently got a set of expressions that I am using with Inspire, they work like a gem too. The Expressions are registered to my computer (MacBook Pro) via one of the new ACTIVHUBs, but I cannot seem to register the ACTIVslateXR. When I try I follow the Inspire instructions, when I get up to pressing REGISTER on the slate REGISTER comes up on the small LCD screen on the slate but then nothing else. I am never asked for a pin.

Can anyone help???

You can register RF (915MHz) ActivSlates from within ActivInspire but they cannot be registered to the 2.4GHz ActivHub (the black one) RF ActivSlates must be registered to either an AC2 ActivBoard or the older ActivHub (the one that looked like an ActiVote but with a USB lead attached) Enter the device registration and select either the ActivBoard or the older ActivHub icon, you will then see that you have the option to register RF devices.

If you are still encountering problems, my advice would be to ensure that you have the latest version of ActivInspire installed (select 'Help'>'Check for updates' from within ActivInspire) and then contact your local Promethean Technical Support Department.
