I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have uploaded my flipchart page. I would like to be able to use a translucent slider that will allow me to make the top graph translucent so that student can see if they graphed correctly. I would like to be able to do this with locking the top graph so it does not move. It there a way I can slid the point along the blue arrow so that I can go from more translucent to less?

From what I can see, if the object is locked then the icons won't show, thus no slider bar!
But...you can give any object the action "more translucent" so when you click on it, it will become more translucent in steps each time you click on it. The setting of 50 makes it "half" translucent.
Let me know if you need further help on this.

I have been using the slider quite a bit lately, and I go into the properties menu and set it to "Rotate: no" And restrictor movement no (I don't have it open, but it is the choice where you can restrict it to horizontal or vertical only...
That way, it can't move, but the object isn't locked.

Hi Kajohnso!
This is another flipchart were you can see how a line change if you change a value in the equation.
If it not work correctly make sure that the centre of the line is on the y-axis.
Good luck!

Hi Again!
I made same new thing on your flipchart. I put a box of magic eraser and make the dot and line to draw copy. Now a student can set some points and then see if he/she was right.
Have a good time!

Hey Anders
Thank you so much for the page you created I will include it in one of my units. I too love the magic mirror but feel that maybe I use it a bit too much sometimes, so I was trying to change it up a bit by using the transparency slider. But I am always open to ideas. There is so much to learn. And everyone is so helpful. I really appretiate all of the help.

Thanks for the tip Lizhoppe(sorry do not know your name) I am going to try your approach when I have time on the weekend( when I have time). Sounds like an interesting way to approach the problem.
