"As Before" in Properties Browser question!

Hello all!

I have a quick clarification question. In the Properties Browser under "Tools," I am choosing "As Before."

Does "before" refer to the previous page in the flipchart or the last page that I had displayed on the board? I am asking because I have the revealer on one page and it is appearing when I go back a page, even though that page has "As Before" and all the pages prior have no tools.

For some reason, once you've applied the revealer tool on one page, you need to go to the previous and next pages and then go back into the Page Browser to turn the tools off for those pages!

Yes, I came to that conclusion too, after battling with the Revealer tool in my flipchart. Just another frustrating 'blip' in ActivInspire.

Hi-
my understanding is that 'as before' means 'leave the tool state how it was before'. So, if I enable the revealer/spotlight on page2 then it will remain on if I navigate forward or back because the default setting on those pages will be 'as before'. If I change it to 'tools off' then it will switch them off when arriving on that page.
