Hi All,

I am about to upgrade my ACTIVhub and ACTIVexpressions so that they will work with Inspire 1.2.

Question: Will the expressions and hub still work for those collegues who are NOT updated to 1.2?

Cheers

Craig

Ok, I upgraded. I am just checking things out now. A couple of issues when I upgraded, though.

1. When the program (Inspire 1.2) was loading the Core Resources, it threw up an error saying it couldn't find a particular path. We had to press cancel in the end, although it seems that the rest of the install went ok. Any ideas what will be missing, if anything?

2. Two of my ACTIVexpressions have died! :( The first when we pressed the enter button for the RF upgrade, it froze. Nothing would revive it short of taking out the batteries. Then it wouldn't power on (once we'd put the batteries back in again, obviously!) The second accepted the RF upgrade, turned itself off as it was supposed to, and then wouldn't for the life of it turn back on.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks

Craig

If your expressions are still under warranty, you may be able to get replacements.

You should be able to recover these devices.
1) Start the "RF Upgrade" again in Activmanager.
2) On the handsets that have "died" press and hold the power button. You may have to hold the power button for upto a minute, if the upgrade is successful the device will power up normally.

If this fails please contact customer support.

I understand that a blank screen is not very useful, once this upgrade is successful any future upgrade that may fail for whatever reason should not result in a blank screen.

Regards,
Paul.
