:confused:HI!! I was told that after we download flipcharts the files should have an extension with the word "flipchart" after them when using inspire. I downloaded 3 flipcharts from Prom. Planet today but both extensions said .flp and not .flipchart after them.
How do I convert these to .flipchart?

Open ActivInspire, then go to Open and navigate to the downloaded flipchart. Then go to Save As and give it another name. It will add the new .flipchart extension.

To add to Lisa's reply, many of the flipcharts on Promethean Planet were originally created with ActivStudio. The files associated with it have a .flp extension. Any flipcharts created with Inspire have a .flipchart extension. Just a note, after you open and "save as" in Inspire, you will now have two different versions of the flipchart, the one originally created in ActivStudio and the one you just saved in Inspire. :)

You can also right click on the file (windows) and select Properties. You change change the program that is used to open that document. That way, you dont need to convert each file individually, but rather both flps and flipcharts will open with Inspire.
