Hello everyone!

I don't know if this it the correct area to post this, but I'm looking for some advice. I have the option of having either a 78" Activboard or an 87" board in my classroom. Specifically, I'm looking at either the Activboard 378 PRO AB+2 fixed or the Actvboard 387PRO AB+2 fixed. Does anyone out there have advice for me? Is it personal preference?

I have an old board in my room right now that I've used to create a lot of flipcharts in the 4:3 ratio. From what I understand, my old flipcharts should work just fine if I change to either of these boards. Is that a correct assumption?

Thanks in advance...

Wendy

My "guess" is that your old flipcharts would show up completely on an 87" board but would have a "space" on the left and right side of each page. The space being the difference to the new "ratio." The height of an 87" board and a 78" inch board is the same but the width is what changes. The real issue would come with if you create a flipchart specifically to fit the size of an 87" board, When that is opened by a user with a 78" board, the sides might be "cut off."

But I could be wrong on that.

Hi Wendy,

I have had the 78" AB+2 and now I have the 87" AB+2 fixed. All of my flipcharts work on both boards. I would say it is a personal preference, but I'm really enjoying my 87" {} . I don't think I could go back to a 78".

Thank you for your responses! Any other input would be greatly appreciated! :) Apparently, my principal is giving me a choice, so I'm trying to decide which one to go with!

With a 387 Pro, you have built-in dual user functionality! So I would imagine a wider board would give more space for two people to work collaboratively or competitively!

Something to consider!
