I created a small flipchart (7 pages), each pages has an image insert on it. During class, after writing on one of the pages, I tried to advanced to the next page and Inspire through an error message at me. I can't remember exactly what it said, but it was something like "Page can not be viewed, a blank page has been inserted in its place." I then tried to advance to another page, but received the same error. I had the page browser open, and the thumbnails showed the pages were there and displayed them correctly, but I could not advance to a new page without receiving the same error message. I closed the flipchart, did not save changes, and quit out of Inspire. I then relauchedInspire and the same problem occurred again, but I didn't get the error right away, it occurred a few pages into the lesson. The same error happened a third time with a completely different flipchart later in the day after quiting Inspire and re-launching it.

I am using Inspire v. 1.2.13973, the most recent upgrade on a MacBook Pro OS 10.5.8

We are seeing a similar problem.
I am NOT a Promethean developer, but I would like to see your flipchart. Please post it.
thanks,
george

When you click on "Post Reply" and scroll down below the text box, you will see "Manage Attachments". You can then browse and upload the flipchart. hth

Jared,
It took me a while to figure out how to post an attachment myself....

When you "reply to thread" there is box below the reply box saying "Additional Options" - within that box is a line saying "Attach Files" and just under that is a "button" saying " Manage Attachments" - click on that button.

Another window will open - in that new window will be a "Upload File from your computer" with a button saying to "Choose File" - select the "Choose File" button. Navigate to your file and hit the "Choose" button when found.

Then in the "Manage Attachments" window, hit the "Upload" button. After you do this, the "Manage Attachments" window will close and you'll notice your file name under the "Attached Files" in the "Additional Options" box - this means your attachment is attached to your reply.

Then just hit the usual "Submit Reply" button.

that's it - pretty easy once you do it the first time,
george

This disappearing flipchart pages is happening to me all the time as well as a large unknown font that it seems to convert all test into when I import from active primary 3. Both of these bugs are drivin me up the wall so much so I am going to o back to active primary untill the next update is release. I will miss the tab headed flipcharts and the action browser but the amount of times inspire crashes since the last update was installed just does not make it useable at present. Pity.

It's driving me crazy too, but I am so loving the self-paced learning with the expressions that I don't want to give that up to go back to Studio. Any word on when a patch/update may happen?

I am having teachers with this issue also. I have been encouraging my teacher to migrate and love the new features. I am interested in the timeline for the patch.

They are working on a patch as quickly as possible. Keep your eye out for it in the next week.
