Activ Slate problem

I have a problem with my slate. The slate is registered and I am using a hub. I can write on the slate and it works for about 5 strokes of the pen, then it freezes and disappears from the board. The hub lights up when I touch the slate, but nothing happens on the board. It is registered and still lit up on the hub, but nothing happens. It is like the slate has just dropped, even though the hub is still registering that I am using it, the board does not.
I am in US, and I am using Promethean Software with an interwrite board (my district had to put everything out for bid and that is what they purchased at the time) now they are only buying Promethean boards --lesson learned I suppose.
I registered my slate on a different channel than the classroom next to me and that only helped her pen to stop writing on my board. (every classroom has a whiteboard at my school) No one else is having this issue with their slate. It is a promethean slate that came with our software purchase.

I really would like to be able to use my slate.

Can you tell us what the model number of your slate is?

Is this a older slate that directly talks to the board or is this the new slate that came with the Activhub?

When you register the newer slates that came with the activhub, I dont think it lets you choose a channel.

My suspicion is that your slate is the type that talks directly to the board. And since you are using a non-promethean board, hence the issue.

Let us know if this problem has been resolved.
