Activeslate with Activestudio1.9.5

Activeslate with Activestudio 1.9.5
I have just purchased 4 PROACTIV 78A boards and ACTIVslate XRs. I am using these on a managed network running Activestudio 1.9.5. i.e. because it is a managed network, the school does not have the privileges necessary to install ACTIVstudio 2.
I have been unable to register the ACTIVslates. Should these run under Activestudio 1.9.5?

Activslate XR support only came in on version 1.9.6.


Activstudio 2 is fully supportive of networks. You can do the following


1. Tell Activstudio 2 where the user profiles are
2. Tell Activstudio 2 where the shared resources are.

I suggest you get whoever maintains your network to install Activstudio 2.

You will get more features and more resources.
