Is there a way to have animated pics on flipcharts? Every time I try to paste an animated image on a Flipchart, the image is there but the animation bit doesn't work. Help please. Miaou

In ActivInspire, I went to the menu and choose insert > media and then select the gif.
Here is a flipchart page with two animations. One of them is funny/odd/scary. It looks like someone stuck his head through the whiteboard!

I THINK ActivStudio PC version would allow you to insert an animated gif file but I use a Mac so I can't speak to details. I'm pretty sure though that copy/paste would't work, you would probably need to insert it lie a video or flash file.
But maybe others can share more details.

I'm on a Mac, also. I recently learned that I can save animated gifs to my desktop by simply dragging them there from websites. I can then drag them directly onto a flipchart page from Finder. They can be resized like any other object by going into design mode.
This doesn't work in reverse - I couldn't drag Lisa's creepy-but-definitely-keep-worthy face (not HER face...you know what I mean!) anywhere but into my resource library (where it is saved as an as4, which I don't imagine is usable in other apps).

PC:
While in design mode, animated gifs can also be added by simply dragging onto a page and adding as a place holder.
(doesn’t seem to work from within the Resource Library BUT does if you find the .gif file through Explorer)
Set to start automatically if you want, and to loop.
Go to the presentation mode and click on the image to start the animation, or have it looping continuously.
Hope this works for you.
