Handwriting on Board

On a couple of our boards, when writing onto them, the handwriting seems to "join up". I am currently suggesting that it is because the tutors aren't taking the pen far away from the board enough when writing on it, but it DOES seem a little strange all the same.

The only other thing I can think of is that the sensitivity of the board is too high.

Any thoughts?
