Sharing resources using flipchart recorder

Hi all - last year I used the recorder tool and a cheap microphone to record myself modelling the flipcharts I'd made. I then e-mailed them to the department, This really helped other teachers who were new to Promethean get to grips with the flipcharts. It also made them seem a lot less scary - once they're made there was little for teachers to do other than 'point and click' (although they were still very interactive). :)

Unfortunately this year, when I come to do it, the flipchart recorder tool isn't recording audio. Have I missed out a step or is the problem to do with the audio set up of my computer (which is new)? :confused:

Which software are you using? Mac or PC?

I think that version 1.1 had a problem recording sound with the video recorder but I understand that is fixed in version 1.2. Do you have 1.2? If not, you should be able to update through your Dashboard (for ActivInspire.)

Thanks Lisa. I tried using an old tower in my room to record with the flipchart recorder and the audio worked fine, so I guess it is my computer. I'm waiting till half term to upgrade to ActivInspire so that I can familiarise myself with it - although I am slightly concerned that I wond be able to share my resources with other teachers using ActivStudio?
