Drag and Nothing

When I try to drag and drop, from the Resource Library, an image I get nothing. I can drag and drop Grids, but not backgrounds or any image file. It matters not if it is in the shared or My Resources folder.

I am running 3.6 build 117 • Running the board through Blluetooth • iMac 2.4 GHz Core 2 • OS 10.5.8

Does any one know what my issue is?
