Moving resources

Hi! How can I get the library resources from Activprimary2 onto my new computer which has Activeprimary3? I loved the graphics for "dressing teddies" and "the teddy bear's picnic" which I used with my Primary One class.

On your old machine have a look in here...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Activ Software

You should see a folder relating to Activprimary 2. This contains the shared resources from v2. Copy the complete contents of this folder (or a subset of folders) onto some data transfer medium such as a memory stick.

On the new machine place the copied folders into this folder...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Activ Software\Activprimary3

During the copying process you will find you will have some duplications of files and folder which you can choose to overwrite or not as you see fit.

Then you should find you will have the v2 resources within the v3 resources on the new machine.

Finally in Activprimary 3 dont forget to re-index the merged resources using Resource Manager (off the Primary main menu) to allow the searching function to find everything.

If you don't find the folder that Nigel is referring to then there is a resource pack which has all the AP2 favourites in it.

It's called Activprimary Classic Resource Collection.
