Much prefer Activprimary

The look of Inspire is too different from Activprimary to make a very quick transition.

While understanding Promethean's desire to save money by combining the platforms of Studio with Primary, I've decided not to make the change in my school but will continue to use the much loved Activprimary.

My main reason is that we invested a lot of time and money in training staff to use Primary, confidently, and feel the new display icons are not intuitive so therefore need too much re-training and and also time for the familiarisation process prior to its use.

In ActivInspire you can switch between Inspire look and Primary look. Have you tried this? On the dash board there is a check box to launch in Primary look and feel. After you close out of ActivInspire and open it back up it will have the look and feel of the primary software.

Tried that but still feel the time which would have to be allocated to re-training would not be commensurate with the benefits of the change. Thanks for the suggestion.
