View Full Version : Revealer tool with upgrade

Ok. I have upgraded to the 1.2 and came home to review one of my units. Before the upgrade I had the revealer tool attached to one page. Now after the upgrade I cannot get rid of it and it is on all pages. Is anyone else having an issue with this?????

Yes - there appears to be a very obvious bug with the screen revealer tool - it doesn't toggle off! It appears to put another revealer on top. I can replicate this on both Vista and XP installs.

Any idea as to what I should do? Or do we need to rebuild the flip charts that have a revealer tool. Any chance of a quick fix coming out to take care of this bug? And are we the only two having problems withth is?

The revealer problem also exists on a Mac - same symptom as described above.

Any chance of a patch coming out. I really do not want to rebuild all of my flip charts that have the revealer tool in it. Now I am afraid to use it. When it takes days and I mean days to create a lesson that might be anywhere from 8-20 pages long, it is a bit much to rebuild and very disapointing. Anyone out there that has the power to do something about this?

Hi!

If you check for updates again, you should find a newer version on 1.2. This will correct the Revealer problem :)

Thanks for the quick action. I just ran an update and your are correct. The problem appears to be fixed. Thanks again for the quick response it makes a big difference.

I don't know where I've been. I've been fighting this problem with the Revealer tool and it wasn't happening on some of my teachers' MacBooks but it was on my MacBook Pro. So I figured it was my problem. I just happened to do a search tonight and saw this thread and it was an answer much needed.
I just ran the update and then launched my ActivInspire and was thrilled to be able to activate the Revealer tool and deactivate it by clicking on the icon in the tool bar. I wish I can looked when it started giving me problems.
I've learned to use the SEARCH feature a lot more.
